Today’s edition of GPB’s “Political Rewind” started with a timely summation of south Georgia’s deadly encounter with at least two tornadoes, and ended with Saturday’s marches – the one in Atlanta led by former mayor Shirley Franklin, who tells us about it.

Oh, and in between, we talk about first impressions made by President Donald Trump. If you missed it live, you can listen to it here:

Today’s line-up: Host Bill Nigut; yours truly; former mayor Franklin; Beth Schapiro, the retired Democratic strategist and pollster; and Chip Lake, the unretired Republican strategist.
