William Llop, a CPA from Sandy Springs and one of several GOP primary challengers to U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk, is out his first TV of the campaign for the 11th District seat. The note from strategist John Garst that accompanied the clip:
This spot is currently being aired on cable TV inside the 11th district with an expanded ad buy planned for next week.

This is a standard half-attack, half-promotion TV spot that is usually a sign of limited resources. But what’s interesting is that it goes beyond the Planned Parenthood beef that some conservative Republicans have with Loudermilk’s vote in support of the omnibus budget deal last December.
The spot alleges that the budget deal also funded federal efforts to take in Syrian refugees. Here’s the link to the article in the ad. It makes no mention of the funding issue.
