Report: Ray McBerry seeks out 18-year-old for bikini-clad photo shoot

By Daniel Malloy

Also-ran gubernatorial candidate Ray McBerry is back in the news, via Fox 5 News, for inviting an 18-year-old to wear a bikini for him in a supposed modeling shoot — sparking a confrontation with the girl’s mother.

You may recall McBerry, 46, was accused of an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old during his 2010 run for governor. The full Randy Travis story is here, including a Facebook message exchange between McBerry and 18-year-old Kayla Gooch. McBerry found Gooch through an intermediary named Tara O’Neill — who may not exist — and a McBerry-created “Girls of Dixie Modeling” company.

This is one weird, sick dude.  He says he had no purpose for the pictures but wants to do a shoot?  Unbelievable!  He's too lax and doesn't seem very bright.  He'll slip one day and hopefully end up in jail where he belongs.

If all of his "targets" over the past 25 years came together and made a statement together we would have QUITE a busy news day. Find one cute girl who was his student and you will hear 5 more stories about her and her friends. Talk to the churches he has attended- there's more. And I bet the ex-wife has more to tell than we even want to know. This is very sad and needs to finally come to a stop.

Just think, with the proper campaign operation, this religious nut could be sitting in the Governors chair.

At least wrong-wing Georgians prefer and old-school crook to a predator.

the girl is 18, a legal adult. She can buy ciggs, go to the club, join the military, and date older guys if she wishes...

Predator, without the groovy invisibility device and shoulder mounted tactical nuke.

For which I suppose fathers of daughters statewide should be thankful.

Unfortunately, our state laws in this area are so lax, it's going to take an actual rape to get Pervy Ray off the street.

Some people use positions for power and prestige others like McBerry use their positions to be a twisted pervert.

More family values.

Who are the advertisers on McBerry's TV station?  Maybe they need to reconsider their support of him.

@honested Spalding and Lamar counties were plastered with his ads. He came to Spalding Co.  to speak to repubs  in the Sheriff's election.

@DanielMcDowell Some family's  do have values and apparently one of her mother's is for her daughter not to date someone who is 28 years her senior.  We can't fault her for having family values and being a good parent can we?

@Kamchak His tv station gives Mc Nutty access to both male and female children. Does anyone really watch this show? The fact he bought the 16 yr old a cell phone to set up meetings with him, after her parents told him to stay away, and, I believe filed a restraining order  shows this man doesn't think laws were meant for him.  I believe when this all began, the girl was 15, and, McNutty was 40 something, He later sued the girls mother for posting his actions on facebook. He was a teacher at the time. And Sunday School Teacher.and, shortly thereafter ran for governor. As a teatard. When you see the creepy RWN postings, think of McNutty. That's the mentality we're dealing with.

@Kamchak

Interesting but not surprising, this bozo thinks Sandy Hook was a false flag op and the guvmint is controlling our minds.

Got 12% in the 2006 Ga GOP primary.
