Sarah Palin visits South Fulton in April to campaign for Karen Handel (AJC/Bob Andres)

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin weighed in via Facebook this morning with a couple of Georgia GOP U.S. House runoff endorsements: former state Sen. Barry Loudermilk of Cassville in the 11th and surgeon Bob Johnson of Savannah in the 1st.

It’s another tea party stamp of approval for Loudermilk and Johnson, who have the backing of national groups as well. When Palin backed Karen Handel in the U.S. Senate primary, the Handel campaign reported a surge of donations. Here’s Palin’s full post:

Just back from a beautiful weekend in Alaska’s Bristol Bay – nothing like some clean fresh air to reinvigorate us for the fight ahead this fall. Today, we’re announcing support for two solid constitutional conservatives from the great state of Georgia. Having many friends in Georgia, we know like us your summers are filled with fishing, family, and fresh air without much room for politics. However, with so much at risk in this year’s elections, please take time to check out these great conservatives and encourage your family, friends, camping buddies, neighbors, etc. to get out and vote for them next Tuesday, July 22nd.

DR. BOB JOHNSON FOR U.S. CONGRESS (GA-1)

Dr. Bob Johnson is one doctor we need in the House! Americans are tired of career politicians who make empty promises during campaigns, only to get to Washington to advance their own careers. Dr. Bob is in this campaign with a servant’s heart. As a 26-year Army veteran, a Christian medical missionary, and a surgeon, his life’s work has centered on serving country and neighbors. We need more like him in office. Dr. Bob is a conservative who will work to repeal Obamacare and balance the budget, and he has signed the pledge to self-limit the time he’ll spend in Washington. His campaign is propelled by the good Georgia grassroots. Let’s send Dr. Bob to the House on July 22nd!

BARRY LOUDERMILK FOR U.S. CONGRESS (GA-11)

Barry Loudermilk has a proven record of conservatism in the Georgia General Assembly, one that I hope he can bring to the weak-kneed in the halls of Congress. Barry is an Air Force veteran, small business owner, father, grandfather, and husband who met his beautiful wife in the great state of Alaska many summers ago. Barry will take his strong work ethic, life experiences, and conservative principles to Washington where he will join the fight to restore our great nation and use the Constitution as his guide. Please join me in supporting Barry Loudermilk for U.S. Congress on July 22nd.

Sarah who? The Governor who resigned in mid-term and became a TV celebrity? The woman who can see Russia from her house window? Has international gravitas because Alaska borders Russia? And who reads all those magazines and newspapers she can't name?

Did the half-term quitter move to Georgia and I missed it? Aside from her, "Oooo, she's a mean girl like me!" bond with Ms. Handel, what qualifications does she have to stick her nose in anything that happens here? Just curious.

Have anyone of you ever wondered why so many Physicians are running for political office in Georgia?

The Physicians Think and Believe you are STUPID!

They may be right, because many of you keep voting for them.....

This just in:

"The majority of Americans are tired of Sarah Palin’s unsolicited political pronouncements, according to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll.

"Fifty-four percent of voters think the former GOP vice presidential nominee is too outspoken on the issues, a total which includes two-thirds of Democrats, a majority of Independents, and perhaps most surprisingly, four-in-10 Republicans."

And the tundra tart seals those races.

This should make things easier for even the densest republicans.

Ah, the proverbial kiss of death, er, dumb.

Isn't Palin like, 1-6 in backing winners in Georgia races?

I hope these endorsements are just as successful as her backing of Karen Handel.

Don't the racist birther/kkk/gop knows most Americans think Palin is an idiot? When Palin is a spokes person for your party, your party is devoid of intellect."

Coming from a racist no less - classic post!

Leave it up to the crappy AJC to keep giving exposure to has-been Palin.  Who gives a crap who the moonbat from Alaska supports???

Hopefully for the people of those districts and our nation, her losing streak will continue.

Well, that would help me vote against those endorsees if they were/are in my district.  Always nice for her to help with such delineation like her similar endorsement for (thankfully) loser Handel.  Has she come out for Hice yet?

I am a conservative Republican, but for the life of me, I do not understand why anyone gives a rat's behind what Sarah Palin thinks, or to whom she gives her blessings. I pray that the future of our party is not tied to the likes of her. We have some very intelligent people of substance who should be the voice and face of our party, not a self-promoting person of little substance like Mrs. Palin.

@MiltonMan  And leave it to the crappy pox/murdoch people to continue giving her a platform 2-3 times a week to spout her air-headed nonsense.

Having said that, I like your comment. It may be 90degrees in Jawja, but hell is soon to freeze, as soon as I hit the "Like" button.

@NOlongerRepublican

It's more than just the district.

Never forget the aid gingrey and broun (yet another district where I hope she endorses) gave to the Nation in keeping Georgia a laughingstock.
