Phil Gingrey goes after ‘the moderates’

By Daniel Malloy

In his latest television ad, a tougher U.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey of Marietta  positions himself to the right of David Perdue, Jack Kingston and Karen Handel in the Senate race.

Notice the revival of a charge against Handel that was originally leveled in the 2010 race for governor — that, as chairman of the Fulton County Commission, she approved funding for an organization aimed at gay youth.

The Tea Party will to the GOP what the Nativists of the 1850's did to the Whig Party. Rather ironic the the very section of the Country that was so opposed to the GOP as to secede from the Union is now providing its last bastion.

The more Phil advertises, the further behind he gets. He even trails ultra whacko Paul Broun. His "Repeal or Go Home" slogan is a joke. Phil would be 80 after his 1st term, and he would be leaving the Senate anyway, assuming he could find his way back home. He already has signs of early dementia. "Women can choose not to get pregnant in cases of legitimate rape." What's next? Guam will turn over?

So tired of hearing who is the most "conservative", it means absolutely nothing.

He has zero chance, Handel and Perdue in the runoff.
