By Jim Galloway

At noon today, Gov Nathan Deal will give a report on Georgia’s weather. But on the state Capitol’s front steps, these members of the Atlanta Fire Department have declared that the thaw is underway:

Bernie31,

How about the massive power outages in Clayton County and other African areas of metro ATL ?

The Caucasian neighborhoods, especially in Republican areas, have plenty of power and groceries.

Where's Jesse & Al when you need them ?

I guess they are all smiling because it's the end of this round of miracle weather.

@SaveAmericaFromItself - Sitting at home watching 42- The Jackie Robinson Story. What a Fine Bunch of Christian Pretending Jesus Not following people yer Brothers are. Just a Lovely Bunch! of Family Value Folks.......just Lovely! Kinda reminds me greatly of Today's Republicans and how they treat and respect President Obama.

@SaveAmericaFromItself - ALL know the DEAL! Black Folks are always in line for the Last of everything. But always the first to get Fired! We expect such treatment and care. After all we have been second class citizens of this state since the docking of the Good Ship Jesus.

If it were any different then we would be SHOCKED and Amazed!

So why not call yer Brothers down at the Gold Dome. Tell Charlie and the Deal DOUGH to get on the stick! and get those Lights on....But I fergot Cherokee county is North of Atlanta and not south. They are also majority Republican too!

 uh..huh.

I hate it when the computer corrects my spelling into an entirely different word. I typed miserable, not miracle.

@Michael2255

If you made as little money as our emergency responders do would you volunteer your efforts to shovel snow off of state property?

I wouldn't.  I would also refer you to my union delegate...oh wait, GA is not that free.

Why bother? It's 12:30 and the road in front of my house is not only free from slush, but it's half dried.
