Can a computer program catch a bad guy before he even commits a crime? MARTA will soon see. The transit agency has contracted with a Houston-based security firm to analyze its surveillance video using an artificial-intelligence-based software that “learns” to distinguish normal behavior from that which seems suspicious.

At a tea party-infused Gilmer County GOP forum in Ellijay on Saturday, one of the questions to the five U.S. Senate candidates in attendance was: “Obama has perjured himself on multiple occasions. Would you support impeachment if presented with a vote?”
Rep. Paul Broun, Eugene Yu and Derrick Grayson all raised their hands. Karen Handel and Art Gardner did not.
