No bills are on the House calendar on Thursday, but expect some action in smaller gatherings.
After stirring up some controversy last year, HB 176, which gives phone companies greater independence in the location of cell phone towers, could make it out of the House utilities committee.
And HB 715, which recalculates out how much land on Jekyll Island may be developed, may make it out of the Natural Resources and Environment Committee.
Look for House and Senate Democrats to make news by rolling out their agendas. And prepare for an invasion of short people. Thursday is “Children’s Day at the Capitol.”
