When newspapers, TV and talk radio collide

By Jim Galloway

Every Friday, political analyst Bill Crane, Channel 2′s Lori Geary and myself gather in the basement studio occupied by WSB Radio’s Scott Slade, to record a 15-minute overview of the week in politics — for broadcast on Sunday morning.

This last Friday,  Geary brought videographer Tracy Reeves into the tiny confines of Slade’s world, made slightly more spacious by the fact that Crane was calling in from New York. Above is the result.

Down South a liberal is anyone who believes that the abolition of slavery was a good idea.

Cox is liberal.  They host conservative talk programs, because that is what people want.  But when they bring on their own "unbiased" news, it is always hard left news with a thin disguise as unbiased.

Yeah, and bear in mind that this is the organization that gave us Neal Boortz, and now Limbaugh and Cain.

To call Cox 'liberal' is laughable.....

Here's a photo of the Board of Directors of the company that owns the AJC, Cox Communications:

Together these people are worth over $20 Billion. How in the world anyone can imagine a bunch of liberals out of this group mystifies me.

Mass psychosis, maybe?

Always a laugh to read "disinterested" liberal bloggers going ballistic—when their favorite liberal media outlets are labeled as liberal. If Cox weren't liberal ... would they CARE?

Of course not!

Another day, another rant session by Centrist, complaining about the big bad liberal media.  Par for the course.

Sorry, didn't watch the video link above or WSB on Sunday mornings.  The Cox Media Group and their liberal pundits is NOT where I gain political insight.

@BuzzG, if people want conservative talk shows then they must want a conservative newspaper also.  Surely there is a rich conservative out there that is willing to risk the money to start a metro-wide conservative newspaper, right?  Supply and demand?  Where is he?  Easy money, right?

I guess we'll never find out, so you just keep whining everyday about the imagined entitlement you feel you have on the content of this website and newspaper.  Maybe Kam will post a crybaby video for you too.

@The_Centrist, so you can't point out a single example of liberal rantings from the radio show?  You just spew your garbage with nothing to back it up with as usual?  What on earth are you doing here besides crying every post?  Get some help.

We know where you gain your "political insight", from far right wing blogs like Breitbart, not exactly a haven for the centrist crowd!

@The_Centrist Yeah, because giant media businesses, who make their money from other giant capitalist advertisers, have every reason to be liberal. Makes sense, from a squirrel point of view.
